Erika Cheever

Long before her two most important clients came along, Erika packed up her little VW Jetta and drove to Chicago to enroll at DePaul University to obtain her degree in finance and accounting.  After working with several small to mid-size companies throughout Chicago, Connecticut and then back in Maine, she decided it was time to venture out on her own and offer her services to several clients all at once as a “Controller for Hire.” Her book of clients ranged from large insurance companies, law firms, mortgage companies, marketing firms, architectural firms, bakeries, restaurants, doctor’s offices, to the trades (construction/landscape/lobster industry) as well as non-profits. In addition, she has managed several personal finance clients as well as estates. 

Erika lives in Yarmouth, ME with her two boys, Andrew and Owen. She spends her free time mentoring a smart and sassy young girl at Harrison Middle School in Yarmouth, volunteering on every Booster board you can think of in Yarmouth, Cumberland and Portland.  She also donates her skill set to Honor Flight Maine.
